My Journey to Permission
The past five years have seen extraordinary disruptions and generational change on a level no one could have predicted, even a decade ago. Today, many of us are struggling to keep a firm grip on the wheel as we navigate unprecedented challenges—the kind that make us ask who we are and what we can do to make a difference, not just in our own lives, but in a world struggling for hope and change.
So it was, in the midst of the pandemic lockdown, that I realized I had to find a way to let everyone in on a solution I’d been deploying in businesses for nearly two decades. I just couldn’t ignore the extraordinary personal growth I was seeing in the people I was coaching. They were telling me that making purpose and passions the centerpiece of their professional lives was having an outsize effect on everything else: relationships, parenting, navigating crises—all of it. I already had the sauce, I just needed to put it in a bigger bottle!
